Celebrating 100 Sessions of Semper Fi Odyssey

December 6-12, 2026, we will celebrate an incredible milestone: the 100th session of Semper Fi Odyssey. For almost two decades, SFO has brought wounded, ill, injured, and transitioning services members together for an experience built around connection, challenge, leadership, and resiliency. What began as an effort to help warriors navigate the transition from military service to civilian life has grown into one of our most meaningful and enduring programs.

Throughout every session, the program has impacted hundreds of veterans and active-duty service members who have traveled to the mountain, challenged themselves alongside their peers, built relationships rooted in trust, and discovered practical tools to help them in their personal and professional lives.

Each SFO session continues to build on the lessons of those that came before it. The program continues to evolve alongside the needs of the warriors we serve, incorporating an understanding of stress, regulation, resilience, and the importance of meaningful human connection.

As we prepare for our 100th session in December, we want to recognize the participants, team leaders, staff, families, and supporters who have made this impactful journey possible.

Building Leaders Since 1998

We were founded with a primary mission: to pair area youth with a mentor and provide these teams with a unique wilderness experience at our 500-acre Laurel Highland camp. We incorporate leadership skills, high adventure, and team-building into a week-long curriculum that sets the stage for a year of follow on activity between our mentors and their teams. Individual and team resiliency lies at the core of everything we teach and facilitate.

Since our inception we have built a large clientele of universities, private schools, organizations, and corporations.
